Israel, 2024/Comedy-drama, 120 minutes/Hebrew, English, Hungarian (w/subtitles)/Directed by Adir Miller, Doron Paz, Yoav Paz/written by Adir Miller

Arnon Noble (Adir Miller, The Matchmaker) is a religious man with a strong bond to his mother, Violetta (Tikva Dayan, Seven Blessings), a Holocaust survivor who shares in school lectures the story of how, in Budapest during the war, she saved the lives of her baby boy and herself with the help of a thin gold ring.  When Violetta’s health deteriorates, Amron decides to travel to her old hometown to find that ring.  He turns to his daughter Alma (Joy Riegler, Image of Victory), from whom he is estranged, for help on this journey.   Alma reluctantly agrees, not for her father’s sake, but because of the bond she too shares with Violetta, her grandmother.  Based on Adir Miller’s own Holocaust survival story, The Ring is a heartwarming dramedy about three generations and the family history that reconnects them.

Winner of Audience Awards at the Tampa Bay, Palm Beach, Rutgers, Cleveland, Gold Coast International, Buffalo, and Jewish Nevada International Film Festivals, as well as Best Film at the Nice Israel Festival in France.
