The inspiring true story of a Mumbai street dancer and an Israeli ballet master, Call Me Dancer tells the story of Manish Chauhan, a hip-hop dancer who is forever changed when he accidentally walks into a ballet class.  Manish is taken under the wing of 70-year-old instructor Yehuda Ma’or, once among Israel’s top dancers and ballet teachers, who has fallen on harder times and is now teaching ballet at an inner-city Mumbai dance school. Manish dreams of dancing on the world stage even as he struggles to break free from the confines of his own economic and social circumstances.  Yehuda, meanwhile, finds new purpose in nurturing the young man’s talent, raw as it is, Manish having started ballet at age 20 when most students have been training since early childhood.
