USA, 2017/Romantic comedy, 90 minutes/English/Written and directed by Rachel Israel (unrated)

After an unfortunate incident with a police officer, 30-year-old David is mandated by a judge to attend a program for adults with special needs at the Manhattan JCC. Despite the manifestations of his own autism, David labels the other participants “weirdos,” and determines to remain aloof – until he meets his match in Sarah, a vivacious dynamo equally determined to bring him out of his shell.  Described by Tribeca Film Festival jurors as a “heartwarming, hilarious and consistently surprising reinvention of the New York romantic comedy,” Keep the Change is one of a kind, and unforgettably so.

Winner: Best US Narrative Feature, Nora Ephron Prize (Special Jury Mention), Best New Narrative Director (Rachel Israel). 2017 Tribeca Film Festival; Nominee: Best Actress (Samantha Elisofon), 2017 Tribeca Film Festival; Best Debut Feature and the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) Award, 2017 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

With special guests Brandon Polansky and Samantha Elisofon, stars of Keep the Change
